R7525 configuration

It was purely a hobby domined project, led by me and a friend of mine. Firstly, I bought this crazy machine that cost me nearly 10,000 yuan(1,350 dollars). This machine(called Dell-EMC R7525) installed two powerful chips(dual-EPYC-7542), which one has 32 cores with 2.9 GHz in default. Following is what it looks like when it was after received.

With top cabinet and power supply units detached, It shows its gorgeous motherboard and massive memory slots(max install 4096 GB). Seeking details, We can find front-harddisk RAID(SAS-RAID and Nvme-RAID), which are linked to motherboard with many blue bundle wire. Looking from the rear, there are two power units(detached) and two Ethernet devices(one is 1Gbps and the other is 10 Gbps).

A triumph

After a mass install work done, We finally ran WIN10 on it. Checking the Cinebench R23 test score, We overwhelm and ranked one. Next we installed PVE(Proxmox Virtual Environment) to let it handle our bussiness stuff.
